In my very short career thus far, I have been very fortuante to have some great mentors who have taught me how to progress in my carrer, how to start investing, how to interact with managers, how to keep my emotions in check, etc. A lot of things I would have learned by myself, but thanks to them learned a lot faster.

Don't forget what those have done for you, and pay it forward. I am able to mentor a few Junior engineers at my company, and it's great seeing them improve. Even teaching my personal friends how to invest or getting them a referral that eventually lands them a job; all part of paying it forward. They have even started helping others and are paying it forward.

My friend once said "A rising tide lifts all ships", and that quote has really stuck with me. If you grow yourself and everyone around you, good things will happen.
