Hello,\n\nMy girlfriend and I will relocating to Australia in a couple of years. As I explore Australia\'s software egnineering market I get a tendency that prety much no one offers more than 160k AUD (122272 USD) base. I was wondering if anyone working in Australia found another way of increasing your take home income from regular employment than 160k AUD?\n\nSome of the things I\'ve explored are remote working for companies based in similar timezones Tokyo, Singapore without much further investigation I found that their salaries are around the same and doesn\'t come to the US standards.\n\nP.S. I am currently in UK and are being paid ~140k USD base, which I know could be increased but in Australia I have not seen anyone being paid higher than 122k USD, which is why I am seeking help for ideas from fellow Leetcoders.\n\nAny ideas or suggested a highly appreciated!
