I hear more and more stories from friends working in big tech, that they never express their real thoughts or feelings on certain subjects and essentially hide who they really are because what they feel or what they think may not be inline with what someone else up in the company thinks. Doesn't always involve politics.

In wake of the recent events of taking a side in a political matter by companies like Twitter, Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Google, and others (which I'd say is a very bad precedence), I'd really be happy to hear what others feel or think.
